When connecting the Jet Excel add-in to your Dynamics NAV 2013 or higher through NAV Web Services, you will need to use the Jet Reports Business Objects for NAV.
There are three steps to configuring NAV's Web Services
1. Installing the Jet Report Business Objects objects on the Microsoft Dynamics Server - this step needs to be completed just once for a Dynamics NAV database.
a. Download the Jet Reports Business Objects for Dynamics NAV 2013-2015 (Latest version: 12.5.9)
b. Download the Jet Reports Business Objects for Dynamics NAV 2016 (Latest version: 12.5.10)
c. Download the Jet Reports Business Objects for Dynamics NAV 2017 (Latest version: 12.5.12)
2. Publishing the Jet Reports Business Objects
3. Configuring client machines - this step needs to be completed on each client machine that will use Jet Essentials.
