Creating a Pivot Table from an NL(Table) Report

Beginner

Step-by-Step

  1. Create your NL(Table) function

Either use the Table Builder or, if you use the Jet Function Wizard or type or function by hand, be sure to give your table a name by using the special TableName= filter

  2. Run your report

It is important that your report be in Report (not Design) mode for the next step.

  3. Insert the Pivot Table

Select any cell within the Excel table that now contains your data, and then click the PivotTable button on the Insert ribbon.
