|Installing Jet Reports|
After downloading the Jet installation program, unzip the contents of the downloaded file.
Ensure that no instances of Excel are currently running on the system.
Under the folder 1 - Jet Reports – REQUIRED, run the Jet Setup.exe installation file.Note: Only one version of the Jet Excel add-in can be installed at a time. This makes upgrading your installation quite easy. By installing a newer version, it replaces the older version.

|Using the Jet Service Tier|
Jet Reports includes an online report management system - the Jet Web Portal. Use of the Jet Web Portal requires the installation and use of the Jet Service Tier for storing and accessing data source and user information.
|Adding an SSL Certificate|
Use of the Jet Web Portal requires the use of an SSL/TLS certificate.

|Setting up your Jet Reports Data Sources|
The Jet Excel add-in has built-in support for data source connections to Dynamics NAV, Dynamics GP, Jet Enterprise Cubes, and Jet Enterprise Data Warehouses. In addition, you can define "Universal" data source connections to MSSQL databases as well as most databases that provide an OLE (preferred) or ODBC connector:
