Need help choosing which components to install?

Note: Only one version of Jet Professional can be installed at a time.  This makes upgrading your installation quite easy.  By installing a newer version of Jet Professional, it replaces the older version.

Using the Jet Service Tier

Jet Professional includes an online report management system - the Jet Web Portal.  Use of the Jet Web Portal requires the installation and use of the Jet Service Tier for storing and accessing data source and user information.

Please review the Jet Web Portal Pre-Installation Checklist and then see our article What is the Jet Service Tier for more information.

Adding an SSL Certificate

Use of the Jet Web Portal included with Jet Professional requires the use of an SSL/TLS certificate.

Instructions for requesting and installing a certificate is available in the article Using an SSL Certificate with the Jet Web Portal.
